Im about to bottle my cider. Whats the best way to caronate the bottles with and how much??? Is it the same as beer?? Might sound silly but i havnt made cider before

Prime with the same amount as you would with beer but bear in mind that cider takes a few weeks longer than beer to achieve optimum carbonation.

I primed with the same amount of dextrose as I would with a beer. My cider came out carbonated almost perfectly (identical to strongbow or mercury cider).
