Very common drink in England, half cider and half lager with a dash of red cordial. It's called a snakebite and most pubs refuse to serve it because it causes viloent drunken behaviour.

I just looked snakebite up, have to try it soon but I'm not too fond of Strongbow. However I dunno if this is what warrenn ment but does anyone think its possible to brew a mixture of cider and beer?? Probably a darker ale. It doesn't sound like a good idea but then I wouldn't have though snakebite sounds good either.
