That's something I might have to investigate, I"m not straining from the kettle at all, appart from using Wirfloc & a hop bag with my pickup 1" off the bottom (in the center)
Have been racking at about the 5-6 day mark when the first burst of fermentation has died off.

Cheers, Mick.

TL.
With the Bazoka T where did you get the mesh from. On YouTube I have seen a few people taking the inside out of flexable stainless tap connections and then just using the outer mesh that is left for the pick up in thier mash tun. Is this where you got the mesh from or can you buy it seperatly.

Yes the Boston brand washing machine hoses do work. You can make a nice long bazooka with a standard hose.

Noice! Is a whirlpool not necessary before emptying keggle?

Took this photo after moving the keg outside to clean it.

Decided with all those flowers i better take a picture.

Still whirlpool, let it sit for 5 mins then drain.

I usually tip the keggle when its about to stop draining to get the last litre of precious wort......
