....and what exactly does your brother/ uncle/other associated acquaintance do for a living? :-)
Most importantly, you didn't mention the beers on tap.
Sounds like a nice place.
I'm abit suspicious that all the bands have to play on the one night. Chickenwire? :-)

Cheers

I'm having a blonde day - why the question about my rel's?
Re the beer - dunno, don't drink the stuff. BH (who, by the way, is a truck driver) drank it without complaining, and the Bundy and Coke was great.

PS: Are there any other ladies on the site, or have I just got to toughen up?

Sorry Anna,
I may have been a bit obtuse with my comment. I was wondering what your association with the pub was as you were very detailed with your post. It crossed my mind that you might personally know the owners. It seems, from your answer, that you have visited and had an enjoyable stay.
As for the band comment,...it puzzled me why they would have multiple acts once a month as opposed to spreading them out.

Yes, there are other female brewers on the site.

Cheers

You're forgiven! Yes, hubby and I rode down (on our Harleys - but who's bragging?) and had a great weekend there, although we missed the "band" (singular). We just wanted to get away over the long weekend but didn't want to ride too far and Tarago is only 30 km south east of Goulburn. Also, that was the only pub where we could get accommodation on such short notice. Don't know why they only have live music once a month though - no chickenwire, just good 'ol country & western I believe. I just thought the more detail the better, but I'm sorry I can't comment on the quality of the beer.

Good to know there's some others of the female persuasion out there! Have a good day, Anna :D

I too can recommend the Dog, but will qualify that by saying I only had one of those standard beers on tap. Why can I recommend it? Well, I didn't get kicked out!

As for bikes. You can take your Brits and Yanks...I'll ride Eyetie!

No so bad! We've got everything in our family - big sister rides a Guzzi and our dear old Dad (83 years old ) rides a Honda CBR600, whilst brother-in-law a BMW!

You will find quite a few Country areas that share entertainment, Tarago is the 3rd Sat'dy of the Month asking some locals you should find out where the are the 1st 2nd and 4th Sat'dy's of the month are held.

In the Goulburn Valley region in Victoria it use to be Yea, Molesworth, Alexander and can't remember the 4th, each would have entertainment on a different Sat'dy.

I guess it is more to share the wealth and meet and greet you neighbours.

Cheers
