I'm going to Tassie for the first time at the end of September for a few days. We will mainly be spending our time in Hobart. I was wondering if anyone can recommend some local cider makers to visit so I can sample some nice cider. I don't mind driving for an hour or so to get there.

not sure there are any! but then again i don't drink cider!!
might not be your thing but a tour of the Cascade Brewery is pretty good, especially if there during the week as its all up and 'brewing'!!
'Mercury' cider is brewed there too but not sure if that is on the tour, i know its not on a weekend as its in a different building.

I did the Cascade tour a couple of years ago and it was only in the brewery and didn't include the factory over the road where they make the cider and cordials.

Well worth it, though. Certainly shits over the Boags tour
