Burgers and Beer

Post by BadSeed »

A great combo on asaturday arvo.
The thing about making bugers is it's so easy, just chuck in what you want and mix it up. Don't buy the lip and arse ones from coles.

This one was something like..
500g Lean beef mince
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1/2 onion - very finely chopped
1/4 red capsicum - very finely chopped
1/4 green capsicum - very finely chopped
1 tsp mesquite seasoning
1 chilli
1 clove of garlic
1 slice of bread (frozen and blitzed in the food processor)
1 crushed weetbix.
1 egg beaten
salt & pepper (optional)

Onion, garlic, chilli, capsicum blitzed in food processor but not too much - not a liquid.

Mix it together with your hands and shape into burgers. Cook it on the barbecue. Eat it.
I have salad and chilli relish on mine.
The beer in one of my awesome pilsners.

That looks awesome BadSeed, you would pay $16 for that at the local brewpub here and I bet it wouldn't be as good as yours.

Not optional in my cook book. All meat should be well seasoned.

Looks good though.
