Hey rotten,
If i had used 500 g of Dex the OG would have been too big and the beer a tad too heavy for me. 1048 ish is good for me about 5 ish %. Love the hoppy american pales and ambers.

Fermentations just finished from the recipe, see previous post. OG 1048, FG 1012 = ABV is about 4.9%, which is fine for me. First taste is very pleasant, good hop aroma, with hidden malt. Currently carbonating. More to follow.
