Can you cc for a week and then bottle?? That would be my suggestion.

I wanted to do it that way, but the fv is borrowed from the helpful guy at the hardware store and I need to return it ...

I have my new fv and was planning a Pilsner brewed at 10 - 12. I thought I'd kill two birds and have the bottles in the top of the fridge above the brew while brewing the new batch.

Bottled.

I'll put part in the fridge at 12 and part in a cupboard now and check any differences.

Well, the beer drinks just fine. It is clean and crisp. The carbonation has added something that wasn't there when sampled before bottling.
It isn't a complex beer, so I'm not sure how much improving it will do if I just leave it 12 weeks. I might have to track its progress each week.

You may be surprised at how much it improves week on week.

Well I quite enjoyed that batch.

Easy drinking on a hot day. Will put one down to be ready for next summer.

Glad it turned out OK.

Some advice possibly given in this thread but certainly given many times elsewhere on this forum to fretting novice homebrewers is RDWHAHB - relax, don't worry, have another homebrew :-)

Cheers,

Oliver
