G'day brewers,
Every Saturday I hold a free brew demo.
Brewing starts around 3pm & is all done by 5pm.
I use the most basic of equipment & do not show off any expencive contraptions.
It's not a sales day, just an opportunity to see the basics of grain brewing, have a laugh & maybe learn something...
Light snacks & refreshments are supplied.
Feel free to bring a bottle of your best to show off or your worst to get some advice and help.
Last Sat I made a brew similar to James Squire's Golden Ale (Amarillo Ale).
Heres what's on at the mo
On Tap: Rum Oaked Gingerbeer, Vienna Lager, Russian Imperal Stout, Blueberry Pinot Noit
Kegged: Hellesbock, Dunkelweizen
Fermenting: Amarillo Ale, Black Raspberry Merlot
Next up: Mango Gingerbeer, Steam Beer
I havent made up my mind what's on for this Sat... I'm thinking it's time for another Mango Ginger Beer... But a Blueberry wheat is tempting me...

Re: Saturday Brew Day- Brewz 2 You
Pinot Noit.
Interesting grape variety, I've never heard of it.
Is this a typo?
Pinot Noir is a common grape variety and a very difficult wine to make well. I also dabble in a bit of wine making if 800L can be called dabbling. Are you making it from a kit or from fresh grapes?
Golden Ale - i make that a bit. Care to share your recipe?
