Hi all,
Long time no speak. Sorry about that. Work sometimes takes precedence over the important things in life, like beer.
Anyway, if any of you are interested in joining the search for extraterrestrial life, there's a homebrewandbeer.com group over at the seti@home website.
The homebrewandbeer.com page at seti@home is here: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_dis ... amid=63041
If you haven't heard about seti@home, here's what it does. Basically, it uses excess computing power on your home or business computer to analyse radio waves gathered from radio telescopes in the hope of identifying messages that may have been sent by extraterrestrials.
You might think I've gone completely mad since my last post, but this is a genuine project, run by the University of California at Berkeley and has hundreds of thousands of participants.
More information here: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_about.php
If you're not already involved, get involved and join the homebrewandbeer.com group. If you're already involved, join the group.
Cheers,
Oliver

I'm back, having overlooked SETI after my computer had a grease and oil change. Here's looking at you, Klingons!
Give a man a beer and he wastes an hour. Teach a man to brew and he wastes a lifetime.
