Site outage due to new server

Hi all,

I am going to be taking the forum offline about midnight tonight (Monday, September 16) so I can switch a new hosting company.

I expect the migration to take a couple of hours.

After the site becomes available again it may take a while for your internet provider's servers to be updated to point at the new location. This means it may appear to you that the site is still down, while for others it will be OK.

If that happens, keep checking back. Millions of servers around the world need to know about the new server location, so it won't be instantaneous and your may take longer than others.

Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly and the site's back up and running soon, and I can go back to bed.
