Adelaide Bottleshops?

The good, the bad and the ugly of commercial beer and breweries, including microbreweries and craft breweries.

Adelaide Bottleshops?

Might want to grab a couple of flash beers while I'm visiting a mate, or maybe just something different that I can't get for (relatively) cheap, if at all, at home.

Parafield Airport Liquor - corner of Kings Rd and main North Rd - Link

Good selection of craft and imported beer. I regularly make a detour on my way home from work.

Does anyone know if the Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton does takeaways?

I'll be passing through Adelaide on Good Friday. I suppose it's asking a bit much for a hotel to be open in the City of Churches then? :-)

Oliver, are you still coming across at Easter? The "City of churches" at Easter is now "don't open any shops", some tourist or local may want to spend money. If you are coming across some of us could meet for a quick beer perhaps?

I'll be there ever so briefly. Whether I have time for a beer depends on how many you're proposing ;-)

Cheers,

We are a dry hot State. Brief stay means plenty of piss. Long stay means more and more and more piss.

If 'piss' isn't your thing Oliver the offer of a quenching handcrafted ale at my place is still open.

I'll be at home that weekend, possibly brewing, definitely partaking in a few of said handcrafted ales.

Sorry drsmurto, didn't mean to tread on anyones toes, but my "piss" is quenching and lovingly "handcrafted"

No worries barrelboy, all is good. I was just taking a lighthearted swipe at the concept of piss which makes me think of westend draught.

I've no doubt your beers are both quenching and livingly handcrafted :D

Rotten - echo = stubbie = 375mL bottle.

And thanks for outing yourself as a foreigner, you can't be a croweater until you have spent more time here than in Mexico. And even then you'll likely be referred to as part mexican.

Supporting Hawthorn does nothing for your reputation either
