Aldi beer

The good, the bad and the ugly of commercial beer and breweries, including microbreweries and craft breweries.

I tried one of the Amber Ales and was not impressed, it is brewed in New Zealend for ALDI. The small head I got when poured quickly dispersed and the beer tasted flat, it actually reminded me of a draught beer that had been left in the glass a bit long before drinking, I was hoping for a JS type amber ale mainly because of the look. I poured it into HeadMaster glass and very little co2 could be seen rising. Hopefully it was just a bad beer as I still have 5 more to drink. If you thought like me to get a nice amber ale like JS, forget this and spend the extra $5 on a real amber ale.
