So How good is this stuff?

LORD NELSON QUAYLE ALE
Brewed in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Available only on tap, this bright-gold, slightly cloudy wheat beer is light-bodied and crisp. There are gentle nips of spicy clove at the edge of the tongue and lush banana notes at the center. A tempered sweetness and clean, dry finish define each swallow. As the liquid warms and the flavors develop at mid-bottle, some tartness sneaks onto the back of the tongue. Lord Nelson deserves a salute.

SUDS SOURCE
Some years ago a visit by Vice President Dan Quayle inspired the brewer at the Lord Nelson Hotel Brewery, 19 Kent Street, to create this ale. A photo in the pub's back room shows a smiling Quayle clasping a partially filled mug of his namesake brew.
