Mountain Goat Pale Ale Extinction

That's right. Mountain Goat Pale ale no longer being made. Hard to find it in Brissie but I bought a few cases and thought it was great. Probably my favourite boutique beer at the moment. Hope the beer replacing it will be as good and available up here.

Replaced by the Steam Ale.

This is a brand newy for us and is replacing our Pale Ale.

I was in Melbourne Sunday for the Marathon, had a couple of pints post race at the Transport, was a fine drop.

Its just Dave and Cam reacting to the market and micro movement. Every man and his dog now does a pale ale and the new Cali steam beer is a logical replacement for them.

as long as they do NOT drop the IPA (greenish label). that stuff make living worthwhile must get case ...

I think the IPA died at the same time as the Pale. They do the odd IPA at their bar from time to time I am told.
