making a FERMENTER

has anyone made a small fermenter?
Im looking to try and make something only a couple Ltrs in size just so i can try a few different recipes till i find something i like.
has anyone tried this before? as i cant find anything small enough to buy

How many ltrs adz? Too Small a scale will be difficult for several reasons.

i was thinking about 2 to 3 ltrs as i could just scale down a heap of things.. try it and if i like it go full scale. if i hate it pour it down the drain and not waste to much money

I've actually tried the oztops stuff and it is extremely simple and definitely makes alcoholic beverages. Can't see why it wouldn't work for beer as well.
