Where to buy beer glasses

Postby ex0ja » Friday Jul 21, 2006 9:07 pm

Hey Guys

I'm after some fancy beer glasses, no particular type in mind, I want to start building up a collection of different types. I don't want any with logos on them.

Can anyone list some good places to buy beer glasses? I'll buy online too.

Thanks

I borrow mine from various establishments.....

Have lovely stella, hoegaarden glasses and a few regular schooners.

The hoegaarden is fantastic for holding head.

I'm going to give them back when I've finished with them!!!

Seriously though if you look in the yellow pages under bar accesories you show find one of those shops that sells everything for your bar and they will have them. I'm sure if you google it something will come up.

I live in vic and in my local shopping mall we have a shop called "HOUSE"
and as far as i know they are a pretty big chain of all things kitchen and bar. I just brought some really nice classy beer glasses there for $2 each on sale..

Try your local brewshop.

I got six crystal pot glasses from HOUSE last year for $30. They are really easy to clean (ok in dishwasher), and they are good for homebrew because the sediment collects in a pointy bit in the bottom of the glass.
House also had some good pints and other stuff.

That said, by far the best one I have is the pewter beer mug my girlfriend gave me for my birthday last year.
I left my fermenter in my other pants

Myer is still having that huge history making sale. My friends picked me up some beautiful crystal beer glasses there for me for my birthday.

My favourite is still the glass Becks stein my friend brought me back from Germany. Fits my home brews perfectly :D

I got a pair of 375ml Pilsner Flutes, they were from The General Trader I think.
