POT

Postby PaulSteele » Monday May 12, 2008 8:39 am

I'm looking to buy some Pot for a brew I'm about to do

anybody know where i can get this?

looking for about 30-40l Stainless steele

seen some at my local kitchen supply shop, very expensive though; around $200 - $300

aluminium is a lot cheaper, but i'm thinking of getting a handy relative or neighbour to put a tap on it, so aluminium could be a problem

SS is expensive compared to aluminium.
I bought a 40 litre aluminium pot last year from Allquip, and I've been very happy with it.
They couriered it to my home within 2 days of ordering.
Aluminium is a lot easier to drill to put a tap in then SS.
It's up to you if you want to spend the $$$$

I am pretty sure picking it up from Beerbelly is the cheapest option (he has aluminium and SS). Not to mention he can fit any extras you may want...

Considering the discussion we had last week I got totally onto the wrong track when I read that... ;)

well by the looks of it, beerbelly is going to be almost the same price for SS with a tap as the retail store charges for aluminium.
