Nice looking drinking vessel, that.

Chubby Pog.
I might even say it is close to my favorite or of the 20 biab I have done whilst making up my own recipe.

Had 3 pots of a Belgian strong ale. Note to self - stop making 8+% beers as you can't be trusted to take it easy.

Re: What are you drinking now?
Rookie question guys,drsmurto wrote: 1.5g/L Northdown plugs @ 15 and 0
does this mean 1.5g/L of your desired batch size?
if I was aiming for a 20lt batch then I'd put in 10g?
Re: What are you drinking now?
If you were doing a 20L batch you would add *30g of Northdown plugs at 15 minutes from the end of the boil and 30g at flameout. Use the 60 min addition to adjust the overall IBU of the recipe.Pogierob wrote:Rookie question guys, drsmurto wrote: 1.5g/L Northdown plugs @ 15 and 0

Using g/L of hops and grain % makes it easy to scale a recipe to any batch size.
*Actual weight was 28g per addition which is approximately how much one hop plug weighs.

Re: What are you drinking now?
Currently drinking some of my brothers Stubborn Russian that I collected when I was at the brewery earlier in the year
Now I'm just waiting for my 70L of Pilsner to be ready so I can start on that!!
:D
It's my first AG Pilsner so it will be interesting to see how it goes
There will also be two versions of it since it was made for one of my classes at uni for sensory analysis between a pils that's been lagered for 4 weeks and one thats been lagered for 10
