gday
got a bit of a bargain today,
picked up this burner for $26.50, havn't tried it yet but i think it'll do the trick.
it's mounted in a mild steel angle iron frame which will make it easy to incorporate into the stand when i knock it up.

grab,
there's no output anywhere, i'm not a gasfitter, but it's got this on it,
NGC 14.5 Mj / Hr.

i just did the acid test running it off the bbq bottle through a low pressure regulator, 2.8kpa.

it took just over 20 min to bring 10lt to the boil.
i don't know how this compares with some of the big guns, but i'm not whinging for the price. :D

it's got a Manufacturer's Stamp if you want any info.

cheers

That's the number I referring too, higher the Mj/hr the quicker it will bring pot to the boil and the greater volume it can cope with.

AS you say for the price it will be great and when you upsize down the track you have a burner for your sparge water or for cooking the crays and crabs with
