Newbie question - bottling cider

So I'm just about to bottle a cider I put down a couple of weeks ago. It's my first cider and first brew in my new brewing spot - under a friend's house, where there is a strong smell of two-stroke. My question is (and forgive me if it's really stupid), will this two-stroke smell have any effect on the cider at the bottling stage? Might some of it get into the bottles and effect the taste/smell? Should I bottle somewhere else to be safe?
