On average? probably somewhere between a half and one full. I appear to be drinking less in winter.

I get about 3 longnecks in a night and weekensds is a bit of a marathon, I have a rule in my house on weekends, if it needs to get done it gets done in the mourning, cause I'll be too pissed to drive in the arvo. The missus doesn't go much on the amount I drink, but she doesn't complain too much cause after a few beers I get into the housework like a lizzard flat out drinkin'. I will say though that I don't get totally trashed, I just like to be on the happy side of drunk, I don't go much on hangovers

I have about 1 or 2 a day, although since I got started kegging it's now between a middy and 2 pints on average, depending on my mood and other factors.

Monday, Tuesday AFD's.

Wednesday, Thursday one or two longnecks.

Weekends I have more.

What is AFD, anyway?

Alcohol Free Day. The medico types recommend at least one per week. They don't hurt that much.

I've updated the acronym sticky.

I've usually have 2 or 3 AFD's a week, 1 pint on a school night, 2 or 3 pints on quiet Friday/Saturdays.

I know I know.... doesnt sound too good does it..

But its a game of give and take... have the AFDs during the week when i cant drink alot anyways because i have work the next day, and then i dont get any hassles if i decide to brew/drink/shoot the neighbours cat on the weekend.

Nothing worse than getting a beer out the fridge and getting hassled about whether you really need to drink that beer....

Working in a Restaurant Kitchen enviroment, we call A.F.D'S.
ALL F--CKING DAY.

So someone would ask what time you are working today and the answer would be A.F.D or if we had a busy lunch service, then we would be on a A.F.D to get the prep done for dinner.

When I joined the forum and saw all the guys would have 1,2,3 tallies a day and then 2 or 3 AFD'S a week, I thought that they had 2 or 3 ALL F--KING DAY sessions..

Agreed.. AFD's cause stress and sleepless nights..

Sunday to Thursday afd,but I taste every beer ever made Friday to Saturday

Thats why Sunday to Thursday are recovery days

4-5 AFD's Per Week.
1- 2 nights per week on more than 20 standards (sometimes homebrew, more often commercial)
Never really have any stock problems with home brew, because go out more than stay home to drink.

I try and have AFD's but I fail quite often.

3 Longies used to be my minimum.

I have cut back a bit though as when I was drinking 4+ I realised that was waaaaay too much every day......

That reminds me, my kegs are MT at the moment so I will have to call my wife to throw a few in the fridge for me.
