How long do hops keep in the fridge?

I've had some hops (amerillo) in my fridge door for about six months. The packet has been opened but is quite well wrapped up. My question is, are they still good to use?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

They will be fine to use, but as you have kept them in the fridge, they may have lost a little bit of their oomph.
The better bet is to do what most of us do, and to keep your hops in airtight frreezer bags, and store them in the freezer. That way they will last a lot longer.

Thanks for your help guys. I thought just after I posted, "maybe I should have done a search' Oh well.
I think I might just bump up the amounts a touch.
At least now I'm confident that the flavour hasn't gone manky.
cheers
