i just finished my last bottle took 3 months to come on song. i used a spring water but it was too light and lacked the wheight. a very refreshing drop by the end the bitterness came on nicely.

but be prepared to wait 3 months for it to mature. Mine had no real head but i only used coopers brewing ...

Hi Guys,

been thinking of something special for my cascade porter. Want to make a cherry porter. would adding this syrup recipe to the heated wort do the trick what quanity would i need I'm thinking 1/2 litre for a hint of cherry taste.

agree on the tempreture,

i had one a long time ago it was served at room temp in a brandy glass, it was a clod winter night and the drink was just perfect. when it's cold a lot of the complexity is masked.

went to the belgium with a beer loving friend and we splashed out on two bottles of chimay grand reserve.

was a very rocking night, then off to my cousins house for vodka and mango. 2 hours later head in a bowl and knocked off my arse still feeling very tender today and this was two days ago ...

just a thought

take them to the car wash fill them with degresser let sit for 20 min then hit them with the high pressure hose i cleaned rust out of these old vases.

make sure you hold on to them mabe leave them in a crate.

thats exactly what I'm up to

going to try an IPA with malt extract, two speciality grains and pellet hops. will dry hop as well but don't want to over complecate it so i know what ingredient has what effect.

If I'm at a party and someone gives me a VB I drink it,

doesn't mean I'm prepared to spend 4 weeks brewing the crap.

the way i see it if I'm investing my time and effort i want something that I take pride in and really knocks my socks off i'm not too concern with the cost because at 28 long necks ...
