Thanks for the links, Warra, will have a look soon as I get plenty of reading time. The Batavia running up onto the Abrolos and the mayem that followed is something that always keeps my interest,likewise the 2 mutineers they marooned on the W.A. coast that were never heard of again.

Yeah, Gov`t`s doing the same here with the trawler licenses, and closing off a lot of the grounds.
Lot of history where you are over there, the "Batavia" is out there on the bottom of the Abrolos Reefs, not far from Geraldton. They reckon you can still hear the ghosts of the ones murdered if you go ...
