Dry hopping . For hops bag am using pool filter socks. Works well and the left over hops makes a bloody good Brasso cleaner

Boy your tap water must be hot
Even here in Darwine I dont have any probs getting temps down to pitch straightaway
I do have a nice deep sink that I can put my stainless pot with hot wort . I top off with tap water and fill the sink around the pot then transfer it to fermentor and top to 22L

Pretty grim up this way .Coles and Woolies both gone out of stocking malt and BE2.
Ross did have LDME on his site for a good price but now its gone ????? !!!!
Transport costs are a killer here.

I use a tea strainer ball thingy for dry hopping ,amI being a blouse? I dont much like hops floatys in me brew.

I brew in AIRCON at about 22-24 room temp

The brew still gives the odd BLOOP! even after 4 weeks

I have no idea what Im doing right just using Be2 LDME kit combos

One of the nicest was a Tooheys dark ale 1kg LDME 250gms dex 15gms of Amarillo dry .
That brewed for 4 weeks primed with 190 gms dex ...

Tried racking but was overcome with laziness and now leave me brews in the tub for a month.
Great results, clear tasty beer
Just bottled 3 brews that have been in the tubs for over 6 weeks all tasted bewt.

After getting a shite infection I've gone off racking
Leave the brew for a month in the primary and then into the prime and bottle tub after that
Dont stir it up in the secondary you will have wasted your time brewing
