party fridge

my friend was building up a keg fridge complete with wheels and a handle for ultimate mobility. He asked me to paint and here is our work of art.

I had 1 random exploding bottle out of a batch probly about 4 months old when i was visiting my cousin. I had left them in the car which got super heated by the brisbane sun and i found the next morning glass everywhere, an all pervading beer smell and a big hole in the ceiling from the cap.

i was thinking of trying the yeast starter because i read it reduces chance of infection in the beer through the yeast using up sugar quickly-preventing bacteria growing.
what grains might work? i just cracked my second brew tonight which was a dry lager concentrate with dark malt/dextrose ...

hmmm,
i have not put yeast in a cup before and i have fermented other brews ok.
others swear by it. it would make the process of brewing slightly more exciting perhaps.

another question- what then is draught beer as opposed to lager, pilsner, old etc etc? :? i had a squiz in beer types but it wasn't there.
beer types are as bad as music genres man.

Cascade Draught??

Hey fellow brewers.
i have only done a couple of brews but it is terrific fun.
I have got a cascade draught can and i was wondering if anyone has
a)used it?
b) thought it was good?
c)had any cool recipes to try?
