Hi Pom I reckon you'll be ok with the extra apple juice, going from the cider I did it can only enhance the apple to the brew. Yeah Chad, I've managed to not touch any of the cider damn hard though...But as you said it can only get better and ...

Re: Brew Fermantation question

Cool, cool. Thanks for that. Looks like its going a treat then.
With the Saflager S-23 I sprinkled in barrel when it was 22 degrees just to get it going and once bubbling was occuring I dropped down to 16. Is there any harm in this? Was there any need for me to do this??
Guess it was feeling weird ...

Just thought I'd quick up-date on my cider I've got going, tomorrow is two weeks in fermenter.
Thinking of bottling tomorrow. Condition inside at around 21-22 deg And then wait for the great tasting to start.

Cheers :D

Re: Beer Kit Brand ??

Mmm making good sense to me now clean brew,
because when I was at the HBS I did notice alot of re-tubed / contained malt etc with a funny do it yourself type label with the price and a quick description etc. Sounds like he is doing exactly what you were saying much like your local HBS. :D

Just wondering, I bought a none labelled bitter tin / kit from the local brew shop. All I asked was "whats your best seller and he said that one. A none labelled bitters tin. He said he can afford to give these away cheaper due to labels? But gave no reference to what it may be like.
Anyone ...
