If they are glucose based Jelly beans, would they not ferment as well as sugar.
I could be totally wrong about this but I thought it went something like this:
Maltose > Dextrose > Sucrose > Glucose
It would probably impart too much flavour to your beer as well I would think

Firstly, let me say that I am totally hooked on this stuff. I haven't even bottled my first brew yet but have already setup a 'brewing ...

Fermentation Leftovers
I am going to be racking my beer from my primary fermenter this weekend.
I was just wondering if there is any use for the gunk at the bottom of the fermenter? I know most of the yeasties in there are probably still ok and it would have some residual flavours from the previous brew.
Any help would ...

Hey Doc,
I'll be in Adelaide in January for two weeks. Would be happy to take them off your hands then if you haven't receieved any interest between now and then.
Call it a 'back-up plan'
But if someone wants them before then, by all means, sell away!

Greetings

I am a complete novice brewer, having only just put down my first brew today. I have been reading up on the subject of home brewing for a while now and I must say that I am completely hooked now - sure you can all ...

Re: Chill Tap
I like the idea but I am not sure it would handle the pressure very well.
