Re: IPA
Put amarillo pellets 12g into disolving process of can and malt , simmered maybe 5min then dumped all into fermenter. After 4weeks in a cube then to keg this is the best beer I'v made.
IPA
Made a NICE ONE,, Black Rock IPA, 1kg LDMe, 250MDX, 12g Amarillo hops, Drinking stubs 2 weeks old, really good and have the rest (19lt) cubed for the keg. Give It a Go. Might try same recipe using Goldings or Fuggles hops, what do you think?

Largering, cubing?
I am new to kegging can someone please tell me the difference between cubing and largering. At the moment all I'm doing is decanting my brew into another fermenter, put in the fridge for a week then keg, gas and drink. Does it make much difference if you leave it longer? Thanks cheers Turtle

Re: Stout/Porter
I think I have solved my temp problem. Over summer I built a swimming pool. The architech tells me it will get down to 14c during winter months. It has steps and the fermenter will sit in the water at the 20lt mark on the 2nd step. Roll on winter!! Has anybody tried the ESB freshworts and ezybrew ...
