Means many things to many people Mick:
New Years Eve it meant Eyesight Somewhat Blurry.
New Years Day it meant Everything Seems Bloodshot.
Another day it could have meant Experienced Savage Blasts, as it was in a crate next to a batch of not-fully-fermented bottlebombs. Still finding shards of glass around the shed, including 1 piece that passed through the 10mm plasterboard ceiling.
To SWMBO it meant Extremly Stupid Ba****d, for abovementioned bottlebomb incident.

Will definately repeat this batch (the ESB one, not the explosive one) very soon, it's nearly all gone, mostly due to a late night christmas day and then NYE.
Nothing interesting to see here, move along.

Yeh, didn't expect that at all, I thought a Barley wine might have been just an unhopped beer.
Read a bit on it since drinking that one & I was way off the mark!!!

Had a longneck of my improvised stout for the past fortnight just haven't been able to get to the post shop at all. I should have a spare few minutes on either Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon so it'll be sent then. Sorry for the delay, Mick.

Feel free to crack open that bottle of Vanilla Porter whenever you like now Mick. I've sampled a couple now and they're drinking quite nicely. Cheers

I FINALLY got mine away today. Sorry about the delay, been a crazy time here and would of gone earlier had the local post office had boxes in stock the weeks when I tried.

Its an AG oatmeal stout. It was bottled from the keg a few weeks ago but has been sitting in the fridge since then. The bottle was cleaned and sanitised with starsan so it should be ok. I've included the recipe and all the notes, temps etc etc from the brewday for you to look over. If the bottle hasn't aged well being a keg poured bottle I'll send another mate.

Hope you enjoy it, first crack at this beer and its drinking pretty ok here on tap. Would be interested in your view on it. Its not an overly roasted/coffee type stout on purpose as I'm not a huge fan of stouts pushing those limits, its more made/adjusted to my own tastes so I guess its all subjective.
