Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Count me in for the July draw.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I have started a Xmas in July thread here http://www.homebrewandbeer.com/forum/vi ... =6&t=10469. Please add your names if interested.
I have also updated the rules to include the time limit to claim which has been discussed. As Doc suggested I have made it 2 weeks in order to get closure of the draw.

Happy for Dave to have it.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I reckon that since the rules were not adequately set out (no criticism of anyone there, BTW, just an unforeseen circumstance) that we should make all reasonable efforts to contact Scoot49.
I will email him.
Stay tuned.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Thanks Oliver, I did PM scoot soon after the draw. Would that have gone through to his email?

I think that depends on how he's got his preferences set up.earle wrote:Thanks Oliver, I did PM scoot soon after the draw. Would that have gone through to his email?
I haven't had a bounceback of my email (or the potential email advising him of the PM) so let's hope he gets in touch soon.
In the email I've asked him to get in contact by May 8 (Sunday week). If he doesn't, we'll take it from there.
Agreed?
Cheers,
Oliver

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Under the assumption that Scoot doesn't get back to us in time, is Big Dave declared the winner or do we redraw?

Or jackpot to the next draw.bullfrog wrote:..., is Big Dave declared the winner or do we redraw?
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Not actually a half-bad idea, Greg. Could potentially save on every bloke's postage, in any case.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I have nominated for X-mas in July but not the Easter draw. Would I win double? Pay double if I don't win?
Cheers

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
That's a good point; not everyone in this draw are in the next. Looks like it may be back to either Big Dave taking it out or having a redraw.
Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
Hey chaps. I would be more than happy to take the win.... Obviously....
But if the majority want to re-draw then thats cool.

Re: Easter 2010 Lotto Draw
I'm not in this draw, so I have no direct interest in the outcome.
However, just bring this thing to a conclusion.
If the first drawn winner doesn't respond to contact, in spite of your best efforts, and within a reasonable time, then he can be considered as having abandoned his entitlement or having frustrated your efforts in conducting the draw.
Give it to the next guy/gal in the draw, and be done with it.
At least, there are now some rules in place which will prevent this circumstance in future.
