Yay! Was a little too late deciding to go to uni for start of year entry, so it's mid year for me. Filled all of two of my preference slots with courses I want to do, really need to decide on some other choices.
I feel quite pleased. Still about three months until I get to go though.
I reckon if you are a bit undecided, just make sure you don't rush into something that will narrow your future choices. Maybe something broader like app science? Then to keep you focussed, you should do some menial work to pay the bills and remind you why you chose to study.
Take care

Bachelor of Science at Uni Sa seems the closest thing to App. Science (they used to have App. Chem, so should have some more industrial, applied chem electives) in the state, so that's what I'm going for as first preference. Have a BSc at Flinders for my second preference, still need to check if I qualify for the Uni of Adelaide prerequisites.
There's only a few brewing related modules in a couple of the science courses at Bendigo, so I reckon it might be more fun to go to Radelaide for my undergraduate degree. Need to get to doing all grain so I can get some experience!
Is App. Science the poorer brother to a BSc or is it horses for courses? I don't want to hamstring employment opportunities too much if it's significantly prejudiced against. Not that I'd be doing App. Science unless I go to Vicwegia.
Thought I posted this last night, which leaves me to wonder where it ended up. Did well in the STAT, so I should get good news Thursday. Might think about joining the Adelaide brewing forums as well.
Already ahead of you there, that's where I'm looking. One's local is an important consideration! Though I've got to wait until my youth allowance comes in before I get in a share house.
