2011 Southern Spring Lotto Draw

Post by earle »

Here we go again

Here are the ground rules: (thanks mostly to Jye of AHB)

Have updated the rules to include a time limit to claim prize.

1. Post in this thread to say you are in and add your name to the list.
2. The winner will be first valid number drawn out of the Tattslotto draw on Saturday the 3rd September 2011 (draw 3143), if no winner the first drawn on the next Saturday's draw will be the winner (and so on until we have a winner), and all non-winners have to send that person a bottle of their finest brew. Lotto results are available at http://www.tatts.com.au
3. Bottles can be what ever you feel comfortable mailing (PET, glass or stubbies) and should come to about 750ml. It is up to the winner to notify all non-winners by PM of address details.
4. Beers should be mailed as soon as possible but no exact date is given as a deadline. The winner is at liberty to name and shame any welchers.
5. Please remember to attach a label so the winner can identify the beer and brewer.
6. You may enter more than once, but if you don't win you must send a bottle for each entry; each bottle must be a different beer.
7. The winner has two weeks after the draw to claim there win by posting a reply in this thread and PMing the non-winners with their name and address. In the event that the winner does not claim their win, a new winner will be decided using the Tatts draw 2 weeks after the original winner's number came up using the mehtod described in 2 above.

Earle, but can't you add me?

I am allowed to play again aren't I? It's only polite not to run away with one's winnings.
If I actually happen to win, you are not allowed to make me feel guilty about claiming it.
That's my condition of entry, that I am allowed to win.
I will put up my lovely No.20 NS Ale again, 'cause by then it would be super grand beer.

Whoa!
Actually, I'll wait. I think in true sportsmanship style, I don't want to risk pinching anyone's lucky number. Later.

Maybe that should be a thread. How does one name their beers.

Welcome mate, nice to see you jump in. It is well worth it.
I got your finest today Tipsy, secret recipe and all. Thanks.

I won't be drinking them right away. I visited Barls on the weekend & collected my winnings from his special cabinet. Wow, what a set up! It was a hard decision to make but went the Smoked Schwartz, which apparently didn't like the trip home on the motorcycle. Still, I managed to save two schooners from it and got to experience a smoked beer. Quite nice.

So after Aust Post delivers them, they'll age a bit prior to opening.

Can't copy and paste from iPhone so could somebody please whack me in at 21?

Free wi-fi here whilst we're staying in Napa but I can't be arsed trying to upload pics from my phone to photobucket so full pictorial will have to wait until I'm back home. Oh, and it so happens that there's a tiny microbrewery here in Calistoga that I'm taking the missus along to tomorrow so I'll take even more pics there.
