Hi all, I have an old fridge freezer and if i put the thermostat in the freezer section would it keep my unit around 18dg for brewing .

It would depend if the fridge air was fed from the freezer, I took out the directional air flow thingy on mine and have an stc-1000 hooked up to it, with the temp probe in the fridge. The freezer section would be 4c colder.
