Ive been looking for an avatar, can someone please let me know how the hell I go about resizing a photo down to at least 80x80 pixies ??

I use photobucket, under edit there is a 'resize' option.

Irfanview is also free and very easy to use

+1 for Irfanview. Great program. I use it to resize all the images on this site. You can do pretty much everything with it, and the auto colour correction is very good also.

And it's free :-)
