Coopers Mild Ale in Adelaide. I bought a slab of it today to take up to the Barossa tomorrow, where we're going to Day on the Green. I have tried and failed too many times to keep up on the heavies (and vodka) at the rate of consumption of the friends we're going with.

So mid-strength it is

Having said that, Coopers Mild is not a bad beer.

Rumpole Pale Ale at the Wig & Pen in Canberra. So piney it is almost like a liquid pine cone! I like it though. How much, I am not sure.

Hargreaves Hill ESB, on tap at Young and Jacksons with lunch. Bloody sensational. Was going to have a Stone and Wood to finish on, but went for another ESB. Beer of the year.
Currently drinking: BIAB DrS GA, BIAB Californian lager, doppelbock of sorts

Melbourne Bitter that a mate left after a session last night. If you're going to drink Aussie megaswill it ain't a bad choice. I'll break out the Roger's and Cooper's Pale later though.

Trying to blast through an infected batch of Boh pils before the bottles reach "critical mass". A richer man would just tip 'em.

S'pose that makes me a poor bastard too.

XXXX Bitter. Not the watered down gold crap. Hardly nectar of the gods but not all that bad for mega swill.

My first AG beer, with Oliver - DrSmurto's Golden Ale BIAB. Best homebrew yet.
