Good work Tipsy. I am planning on doing another BIAB early in the new year so, quality willing, there will be a bottle in the post for you.

Bottles in post this lunchtime. Hoppy hefe, black sheep and London pride inspired ales, pretty sure that's what I sent anyway. If the caps don't say hh, bs and lp let me know and I can decipher. Bottles my first biab ag on the weekend but I'm not sure it's up to standard. Cheers

Congrats, Tipsy. Would you prefer a Honey Wheat or an Apple Cider?

My God Earl, Your really turning out some tasty beers.
That Hoppy hefe was amazing, what was the citrusy hop? a bit like Cascade but better.
And I'm going to have a stab at the London pride, Styrian Goldings?

Do you have the recipes posted anywhere?

Hi Tipsy, Glad you enjoyed them and thanks for the complement.

I posted the London Pride recipe here http://www.homebrewandbeer.com/forum/vi ... 21#p111074 a while ago. Challenger, Northdown and Target, no Goldings though.

The hoppy hefe is a ripper hey. Citra and motueka, I've just posted the recipe here http://www.homebrewandbeer.com/forum/vi ... 87#p112777

Cheers

Hey Tipsy

Bottle in yesterday's mail (sorry for the delay  ), which you should get tomorrow with any luck.... Drop it in the fridge for a bit to let it settle before you knock the end out. Hope it goes down ok!
Currently drinking: BIAB DrS GA, BIAB Californian lager, doppelbock of sorts

Had Saazgorillas Honey wheat on the weekend.

Nice and refreshing typical of the style. I didn't get much honey flavour though, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks :D

Got Big Daves in the fridge, will give it a nudge on the weekend.

Had Big Daves Golden Ale last night.

Another ripping beer, golden, fluffy head and nice balance of hops.

Really hit the spot on a warm summers night.

That's emnpaul, I believe. I received an APA from P. Carty/emnpaul the other day, too.

Apologies. Yes that's me. Perhaps I should have put it on the box. Either that or Guy Incognito.

One thing I've learned from this lotto caper is that you guys like your hops :D

I think emnpauls may be the hoppiest of all (or the title could still go to Earles Heffe, my memories getting blurry). Pours a nice amber colour with a nose full of hops and plenty more in the taste.
Finishes quite bitter (as you'd expect).

This lotto things a hoot. Shit I may be drunk, I've started talking like my old man.

I agree that it is quite bitter, perhaps a little too much. In an ideal world I'd send you a Mk.2 version with a bit better head retention and a bit less bitterness, but I was afraid you'd be waiting until Christmas 2015 to get your winnings. :D

Seems like you enjoyed it though and I'm glad about that.
