pilsner recipe
Re: pilsner recipe
If you haven't already purchased things here are my 2c.
Use a german pilsner malt (Weyermann or Best).
Drop the carapils.
WL833 (german bock) is my favourite lager yeast. Awesome in a pils (bohemian or german) and dunkel.
I have the dregs of a german pils on tap (100% best pils malt, Hallertau, WL833) and a very light feeling keg of dunkel (munich, Hallertau, WL833).

Re: pilsner recipe
You won't be disappointed.
Be sure to make a starter even with a fresh vial of yeast. Faults stand out like a pair of the proverbials in beers like this so be kind to your yeast and you will be rewarded with a great beer.
Cheers
