U Brew it - Breweries

G'day all,

Living in Perth WA in the southern suburbs. A mate an I are looking into trying out a couple of these places where you walk in and brew your own. Eg. Billabong Brewery etc. Has anyone out there who has been to one of these places? What are they like? Which is the best one to go to for beer quality and price etc.? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

We are currently brewing at home but finding it hard to find the time to continue. Need more good beer quickly!! eg. Wheat beers, Belgium beers etc.

when i was just a young lad at college with little knowledge of monkeys it was at one of these fine establishments that i first started brewing [its now shut but anyways]

not a bad place to start as they are usually able to provide you with good advice - and often they will have ingredients etc which the average beginner brewer would be less likely to access

and generally they keep the monkeys out of the stores
