Keg Fridge
Keg Fridge
Hi everyone,
Am getting sick of bottling and am looking to move into kegging.
Looking for suggestions as to what I should look for in a keg fridge - how big should I go (looking at two kegs), would a larger size bar fridge do the job, what dimensions are the 19L kegs, anything else I should consider?
I live in a townhouse and space is a premium so if a bar fridge would do the job then all the better but would like to hear from those in the know.
Cheers,
cliffo

AS Evo would have said, chest freezer
then use a thermostat to regulate temp and put a font/tower out through lid, excellent stuff. When my current fridge dies I will go this way!

Yeh,
Chest Freezer
Last I heard he was making his way along the train tracks from Van to TO.
Wish he would show up soon, I have this pony and a stack of beer.
Starting to think maybe he brought the sled and is waiting for the snow to fly.

Sorry, I went with a mini fridge and a tap out the door. I do understand the chest freezer thing and may actually get one going later in life.
That being said there are other experts around here who are way more informed than I.
It is in there hands

Cliffo if size is an issue the freezer may be the go. A large bar fridge will also work. The bar fridge will be easier to find safe places to drill without damaging the fringe/freezer. There is also extra work in changing the thermostat in the freezer however for the same external size they do appear to have more internal room.
Have a look here for some ideas lots of different setups.
