Cascade Blonde

Post by Wassa »

Just saw this in the bottlo yesterday and wondered if anyone has tried it.

Didn't have the cash for a 6 pack as I had already bought the wife a bottle of scotch.

Tried it yes, recall it no. It came as part of a mixed premium dozen i got as an xmas gift last year, and I know I drank it. I guess no specific memory of it means it wasnt bad at least.

Db,

Saw it in Vintage Cellars at Drummoyne and they has a fair whack of it.

Didn't see any Cascade Amber though. If the Blonde is anywhere near as good as the Premium Lager it should be a top drop.

Tried this on the weekend. Was far from impressed. It's supposed to be a wheat beer, but tastes not dissimilar to other CUB swill.

On the other hand, the Cascade Amber Ale was quite tasty.

Unfortunately, both had cartoon characters and some lame spiel on the label, which in my opinion is never right.

Also managed to down a Cascade Stout or two, which goes all right.

Has anyone tried the Grolsch Summer Blonde, haven't seen it around for years, but was a great drop, would love to be able to HB something like that :)

Yeh,

I have seen it around here. There may even be a couple left in the shops
