Big W seem to have specials on a lot of their HB Stock this week - among the more notable ones I remember are:

Toohey's starter pack - $59.87

Malt Shovel starter pack - $39.87

Malt Shovel kits - $12.87

Apologies if the prices aren't exact but they're within 10c of where they're supposed to be.

I grabbed a malt shovel pale ale against the protests of a fellow shopping brewer who argued that "i was going to get the stout, until i noticed they only make half a brew!"

Also bought 300g of fresh frozen raspberries - Framboos, here I come.

Prices sound about right, they are also knocking out Coopers original series for just under $9 if I remember correctly and brewing sugars are also reduced. i didn't go to buy but couldn't pass it up at those prices and like NTrabbit couldn't resist the MSB Pale Ale.

They had the Coopers Originals for $8.88, but upstairs at Coles you could get the Coopers Originals for $7.89
