i've got a little history with Myrtleford/Ovens Valley, just wondering if any of you make use of the only hop producing area in (mainland) Australia ?

I don't know what types are produced there, (POR ?), but qty is 30% of Australia's total.
got to be some available to the public.

cheers

YG,

I've tried to get information about Australia's hop-growing areas and industry, all to no avail.

There must be some sort of industry association ... Just did a Google search. It looks like there's a mob called Australian Hop Marketers. I can't find a website though.

Anyone?

Oh yeah yardie, I'm drinking a long of my "40g Hallertau in Coopers Pale Ale" as we speak.
Just quietly, I think a lot of those hop fields have been turned over to illegal tobacco.
Salut!
