you guys reckon the Cascade Finsishing hops goes well with Coopers Pale Ale
or maybe Super Alpha ...

been using the later in the Corona Clone, thought the Fruity fragrance might suit.

I used to be a cascade fan (commercial) but,
my initiation to Cascade homebrew kits was not good.

the 'cascade spicy ghost' smelt / still smells like sulphury vinegar...
cheers

Pants,
Got to concurr with 501, Cascade kits are the worst I've made. They do make IPA, but seriously steer clear if you want a decent brew, I'd suggest the coopers PA with cultivated coopers PA yeast and a few hops (tattenager) came out tops for me.
Cheers

You people must be kidding. Have I not spent enough time smacking n00bs on the head for mistaking the USA cascade hops for the Australian Cascade brewery????!!!???

I have no idea about what you people are thinking. http://www.google.com type "cascade hops" and please be reading the first 20 hits.

Doesnt really matter... those one will be in a tea bag, very handy to use if you are using it for flavour and aroma hops...

HvB
I'm well aware of cascade hops and cascade brew kits, being completely unrelated.
Cascade hops used for citrus aroma, Cascade kits complete shite! No link what so ever.

The original question was, Can you buy a cascade pale ale for a kit?

Cascade make an Indian Pale Ale Kit, so the answer is YES, but I wouldn't use it.
The question is a little ambiguously worded, if Pants was asking can Cascade hops be used in a Pale Ale the answer is most definelty yes, which would produce an American Pale Ale style, with a citrus overtone and aroma.
Cheers
