Hey guys,
Bottled my Hoegaarden the other week and after a couple of weeks I placed them in the fridge on their side. Went back the other day to have a look and found that all the bottles (750ml) had a build up of sediment etc. on the side of each bottle where they had been lying. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have since placed all bottles upright. Still learning..????
Cheers Slammer

You will always get some sediment in the bottom. Store upright and fridge upright, that way it usually settles quite hard and can pour of teh beer without displacing it to much. If stored on its side a lot of eth sediment will get stirred up. I use stubbies and can drink from the bottle right down to the last mouthful, leaving only a small amout of dregs and the sediment behind. Just avoid shaking it up.
Did you put all of them in fridge?
It is an idea to keep some out longer to see if it improves even more. Different storage has differnet results, eg. lagering.
