Does anyone drink anything besides beer?

I know that we all love beers, but do any of you like to drink other alcoholic beverages? Personally i usually just slam the beers down, but a wine at xmas aint to bad.

far too much of my fluid intake consists of beer and coffee :-)

I think you're taking about alcoholic beverages though, so apart from beer I don't mind a nice wine, or a gin & tonic.

Average during week days per day, equivalent of 3 stubbies beer, 1 glass red, 2 glasses port, 6 glasses water, 2 to 3 coffees, 3 teas. Not in that order though :)

Cheers, Ed

Coffee, Water and Beer. My head line list of drinks. Minor entries to Choccy milk, Fruit juice and wine.

Does the milk that gets poured on the brekky count as a drink or as a meal being that it is an integral part of the weaties?

Cheers,
Greg

I'm an amateur wine buff, referred to on these forums as a 'wine wanker'. Myself and a few friends try to tour the Barossa Valley (and now expanding to McLaren Vale and Clare Valley) once a year at least. I prefer reds to whites, and always have an eye open for a good port.

I'm also a whiskey drinker, favourite is Irish closely followed by Scotch. The only bourbon I like is Jack Daniels, and yes it is a bourbon, Canadian Rye Whiskeys I can take or leave. Unfortunately I dont really have the cash to build up a nice stock of 12, 18 and 21 year old blends and single malts.

Other alcohol, well that just depends on where I am and whats being served.

Beer is good, bourbon is good and the new Smirnoff Sharp Lime ain't half bad either. Wine with dinner is good and Port to finish and then a great old Single Malt Scotch to relax with.....Heaven.

For white wine I like rieslings, champagne. I like most reds, from rose through to shiraz. I also like dessert wines, sauternes etc (De Bortoli Noble One is one of Australia's best wines I reckon).

Coffee's good. I am yet to develop an espresso stout recipe - one day...

Not really into spirits.

Alcohol = joy

Haven't had a wine now for a few months I guess :shock:
