Ok...I have recently got hold of 4 x 20 litre kegs (not the post mix variety) but the kind you'd find in a pub.
What equipment would I now need to a) open up and fill with homebrew and b) dispense the beer?
Any help would be greatly appreciated - cleaning bottles is getting quite tiresome.
Bill
Help please with recently acquired 20L kegs
dont know, most people use Cornelius kegs...
However, people use kegs of the pub variety as kettles... just chop the top off....

I found this on the website FAQ
6. Q. Where can I purchase tools to remove the valve from a beer keg?
For liability reasons, keg valve installation and removal tools are available only to breweries. It is important only trained professionals perform maintenance and installation of valves. Improper installation can result in possible injury
Is this true? Has anybody had any luck refilling a commercial keg?

G,day Wild Bill, I had a go at removing the spear as per the instructions to that link , I have a couple of Sankey , Heineken 20lt kegs.
Everything went alright , released the gas , unscrewed the spear , but the bloody thing still wont come out , there seems to be something holding it . Any ideas mate?.
