Im putting down AC's recipe this weekend...I got 325g of honey to put in it as well & wondered if I should throw it in primary or rack onto it in secondary....any thoughts?
Only changes I made was to use 1kg Wheat Malt & K97 Safwheat yeast.

Hi Jack,
If you are going to add the honey I'd do it in the primary, are you substituting the beer enhancer for the wheat malt or adding the wheat malt, beer enhancer and dextrose? Which would be alot of fermentables.
If you are adding the wheat malt and honey there should be enough fermentables already perhaps add a little dextrose (if you want a slightly higher alc. content).
The beer enhancer is a mix of wheat malt and honey from memory so if you are adding them separately I'd leave it out. Anyhow all fermentables in the primary.
Mate you don't need to over engineer a beer what ever you put down will be good, try it and see. Good choice of yeast.
I answered you priming question by PM - 180g per 23litre batch should be about right.

There's nothing wrong with having nothing to say - unless you insist on saying it. (Anonymous)

I'm trying my second wheat beer brew per AC's recipe tonight - first try of my second batch, as per recipe a page or so back. The first one was great, I am SOOO looking forward to trying this one.

AAAAAAA CCCCCCCCC
AC,
OK, I followed your recipe perfectly, and now have 60 stubbies of some pretty good tasting (at pre-carb stage) wheat beer. Absolutely stoked! Cheers again for all the advice - I'm certain this one's a winner already!
Kind Regards,
J

Redback
I forgot to mention,
This is the first brew that I've racked to secondary (bought another fermenter for $39 at U BREW IT), and I've got to say - there's a BIG improvement in the clarity of the beer. Getting the brew off the original yeast cake has certainly made for a much clearer beer, MUCH less haze. Thanks again!

I put this down on saturday night & all went really well....decided to boil wheat sheaf, wheat malt & dextrose for 60 mins & put the 325g honey in at 55 mins....the aromas were awesome & it turned out really nice!
OG = 1045
Screwed up the rehydration of the yeast & had to pitch a dry yeast 24 hours later.
