Either 1 or 2. Depends on what how much of a start the yeast need. It won't hurt to use more than 1.

One question ... when's the best time to add the nutrient to the wort? during the boil, after it's cooled?

Soak it in water for up to 10 hours, then throw into the boil 5 minutes into it...thanks to Chris for this info! :wink: :wink:

thnx mate ... added and boiled for another 1/2 hour. Making another dragon stout. This time added fuggles hops, last time didn't, and nothing wrong with it. Just interested to taste the difference.

I added 25g fuggles. Boiled in about 100g dark malt for 15mins, then added to the main mix for the rest of the boil, as it turned out about 45mins.
